Sam started his career and his first business at 20 years old when he operated central Columbus’s CollegePro Painters franchise in Ohio with CollegePro Painters, a sister company of CertaPro Painters. After running a successful business for two years he was quickly hired onto the CollegePro corporate team and was trained as a professional business coach for aspiring entrepreneurs. Over the next three years Sam recruited, trained, coached, and led young adults to run their own small painting business in the Ohio and Michigan area.
During Sam’s time with CollegePro he started a small real estate investment company, IRISY INVESTMENTS, LLC (2011), and also completed his Bachelors of Science in Real Estate and Urban Analysis at The Ohio State University (2014). His experience in the real estate industry includes general construction, project management, property management, and has obtained certifications from OSHA and the EPA.
Since having started with CertaPro Painters of Washington DC in 2016, the company has achieved a world-class Net Promotor Score and has grown into one of the largest residential painting companies in Washington DC. Sam attributes this success to the rockstar staff executing CertaPro Painters Certainty Service System to ensure each customer has a seamless and personalized experience.
In his free time, Sam enjoys backpacking, getting creative in his workshop, thinking about Mars and the future, and reading.
